JULY
- 14: All Zoo Staff & Volunteer Appreciation Summer Picnic | 5:30 - 7:30pm | Amphitheatre.
- 28: Brew at the Zoo | 4 - 8pm | Beer Tasting stations throughout the Zoo! | Additional admission required; FOSAZ Member Discount.
AUGUST
- 19: Zoofari 2023 | 5:30 - 11pm | Black tie gala, silent/live auction, dinner/dance raising funds to help the Zoo. | Request an invitation (714) 953-8555 x10.
SEPTEMBER
- 22, 23, 24: Fascination of Orchids Show | 10am - 4pm | Enjoy the sights and fragrances of thousands of exotic orchids from Californian, Asian, and South American growers. In addition, you can learn orchid tips and techniques from local growers at free classes. | General Public - free with price of admission; FOSAZ Members - FREE.
OCTOBER
- 21, 22, 28, 29: Boo at the Zoo "OC's Premier Halloween Event for Kids!" | 5:30 - 7:30pm | Halloween family festival with trick-or-treating, lights & decorations, nocturnal animal presentations, and rides. | Additional admission required; FOSAZ Member Discount.
NOVEMBER
- 2: FOSAZ Board of Directors Annual Meeting | 5 - 7pm | Crean Family Farm Barn Classroom at the Zoo (4PM Zoo Tour).
DECEMBER
- 1: All Zoo Year End Potluck | 5:30 - 7:30pm | Farm Area.
- 17: Snow Day with the Critters | 11am - 2pm | All-Zoo celebration with animal education activities. See the animals get "snow enrichment treats!" | General Public - free with price of admission; FOSAZ Members - FREE.
